A Coincidence of Cats is the latest album from the Andy Adamson Quintet, set for official release on August 5th, 2022.

"Triplet" is the sixth and final song on the album.

Keyboardist Andy Adamson has once again drawn on inspiration from travel and the natural world to deliver a diverse mix of jazz and fusion compositions on his latest recording. As the title track on the album, A Coincidence of Cats is also the first single song publicly released from the new record.

Andy Adamson is a self-taught musician and composer native to Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has now played keyboards for over 50 years, while continuously performing, practicing and writing compositions.

The Andy Adamson Quintet is the latest musical group configuration constructed by Adamson; An original jazz band featuring an impressive and compelling cast of dynamic musicians that includes Brennan Andes (bass) , Dan Bennet (saxophone), Ross Huff (trumpet) and Jonathan Taylor (drums). Fueled by intricate instrumental tracks and a powerful charge of positive energy, together these players create a common vision that drives every arrangement, while also fully delivering a precise, emotional, and complete sound to all of Adamson’s compositions.
